Open Access Policy
The Journal of Law and Technology Governance (JLTG) follows an open-access policy, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible to readers without any subscription or paywall. JLTG is committed to the unrestricted sharing of legal research, allowing scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to access, download, share, and distribute content freely, provided proper attribution is given to the original authors. All published works in JLTG are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which permits free use, reproduction, and adaptation of the content as long as the original author(s) and source are credited. Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting JLTG exclusive publishing rights. To support this open-access model, JLTG charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs associated with the publication process. This fee helps ensure the continued accessibility and quality of the content published in the journal. The APC is applicable upon acceptance of an article for publication and covers the submission, peer-review, and publishing processes. JLTG is dedicated to enhancing global legal scholarship by ensuring that high-quality research remains widely accessible. All articles are permanently archived on the journal’s website and may also be stored in trusted legal research repositories to ensure long-term availability. Users are encouraged to properly cite journal articles when using them for research, academic purposes, or derivative works. Any commercial use of published content requires prior approval from the journal. By adopting an open-access model, JLTG supports greater visibility, accessibility, and impact of legal scholarship worldwide.
